Recommended Resources

I scour the Internet, meet anyone and everyone and pick their brains, and investigate every book, resource or program that crosses my desk in my quest to find the best professionals, tools and resources. So that you don’t waste your time, I’ve compiled them below.

Online Tools: The best tools I have found to make your life easier and your business better

Providers: The best people for the best job.

Local Providers (Montreal-area): If you are local and like to work with someone local, then look here for the best.

Online Tools

Unlike a lot of “gurus”, I don’t recommend everything and anything that comes my way just to make a buck off you.  I have too much respect for my valued readers to ever do that.

If I’ve listed it here, it is because I wholeheartedly support it. I have either used/read/tried the resource for myself, or I have seen it first hand with a client. In some RARE cases it has been endorsed by someone I trust completely (e.g. a mentor or a colleague).  Other than that, NOTHING else makes this list. The existence of a referral fee has no bearing on my recommendation, either. If it’s here, it’s because it is proven to be VERY GOOD and DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES.

If you try any of these recommendations and have something bad or good to say about it, please let me know!

Websites for Coaches

Kenn Schroder of Coaching Sites That Work, based out of New York, USA helps professional coaches create a compelling online presence — and boy does he ever. If you are a coach, once you’ve got your marketing messaging and strategy sorted, I recommend you head over to Kenn to help you build your image online as a top-tier coach. Just have a look at his portfolio and you will see great-looking sites that also work from a marketing perspective. You KNOW how much I like that — it can’t just look pretty, it has to sell.

You have to pay for good work, folks, and while Kenn is affordable versus comparable providers, don’t expect to get a site for $500 — this isn’t eLance, Kenn is a pro. Trust me, your site will pay for itself.  Tell Kenn I sent you when you contact him. I also suggest you pop over and pick up his free report, 5 Website Strategies for Attracting Coaching Clients, at: www.CoachingSitesThatWork.com
