Peter’s Bio

Peter Vogopoulos, (vo-GO-poo-los) is known professionally as “The Real Results Guy™.  He is a successful business acceleration coach, marketing strategist and founder of Marketing for Real Results™.

He helps businesses attract more clients and make bigger profits.

Solo-entrepreneurs to small- and medium-sized businesses have seen their revenues double and even triple with his signature program, the Marketing for Real Results System™.  Actionable and practical, these strategies and programs are designed for real results.

In addition, Peter is a Certified Guerrilla Marketing Coach™,  and when his is not running his business, a Lecturer of Entrepreneurship at Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business and a volunteer mentor coach for aspiring entrepreneurs at YES Montreal and the Fondation du maire de Montréal pour la Jeunesse.

Peter’s Story

If you don’t count comic book reselling, lemonade stands and skateboard pimping, this is my sixth entrepreneurial project (consulting company, two now-defunct software companies, one successful executive coaching firm, one fledgling internet business and now, this site).

I only say this to impress upon you that I have made TONS of business mistakes, including myriad marketing and business development ones, in my life. Annoyed at being caught with my pants down again and again, these mistakes motivated me to devote serious study to the topic of small business marketing.

I became a student of several marketing systems and programs, immersed myself in every resource imaginable and started working with my business coaching clients on how to put these into action and create real results.

Real results were not instantaneous or easy. It took tweaks and tests and more tests and more tweaks. Cracks started to show in some of the marketing systems I was using and I came up with my own systems and strategies to compensate. Eventually, I threw everything out and started from scratch. The result of this enormous undertaking is the Marketing for Real Results™ System, a four-step process to small business marketing success.

Why this site?

Lots of business owners and entrepreneurs desperately want to be successful. Not just to have the privilege of owning their own job, but rather a real, bona fide, profitable, sustainable, reliable source of freedom. Most just need a little help getting there.

Know this: learning about small business marketing and actually doing the marketing activities are critical to your success as a small business owner.

Marketing is not voodoo. In fact, for the most part it is quite simple once you understand the basic principles.

I know that not every entrepreneur is able to hire their own marketing stategist or consultant to guide them through the process of creating an effective marketng plan. That doesn’t mean they can’t do something about it on their own.

Some sound advice, good resources and some tips & guidance can mean all the difference for a small business owner struggling to take their business to the next level.  This is the motivation behind this site. A way to get you moving forward, while making it as easy to understand and as fun as possible.
